ninety years old woman, Hagar Shipley who suffers throughout due to of her personal attributes such as
sense of pride, notion of independence and idea of self-respect, but at the same time these attributes keep
her affirmative to grapple with her personal demons, and to struggle to provide meaning and purpose to her
