Abstract :

A teacher can never truly teach unless he is still learning himself. A lamp can never light another lamp unless it continuous to burn its own flame. Above quotation of Tagore clearly indicates that teacher should always learn new things and should update and enrich his/her knowledge. Teacher education has been facing many problems related to curriculum 'teaching methods learning strategies and related to the evaluation system. Now days, there are so many challenges and threats in teacher education. To improve the quality of teacher education programme, we should point out the problems in micro teaching, teaching methods, learning strategies etc.
