Abstract :

The Maratha Empire, established in the 17th century by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, emerged as a powerful force in Indian politics and history. Known for its innovative military strategies, including guerilla warfare and strategic fortifications, the Maratha Empire played a crucial role in challenging the dominance of the Mughal Empire and shaping regional power dynamics.
