Culturally Sensitive Pedagogy: Need of the Hour

Abstract :

NCERT’s National Curriculum Framework-2005 initiated a paradigm shift in school education from teacher centric to student centered pedagogy. In a culturally diverse classroom, engagement in learning is most likely to occur when students are intrinsically motivated to learn and to achieve these teachers should make connections with the students and respond their needs in imaginative and dynamic way.
