Abstract :

A broad definition of research is given by Martyn Shuttleworth - "In the broadest sense of the word, the definition of research includes any gathering of data. Research and experimental development is formal work undertaken systematically to increase the stock of knowledge, including knowledge of humanity, culture and society, and the use of this stock of knowledge. Social science research is any research into the fields of social science. These fields include history, philosophy, political science, psychology, and geography. Social science or soft science studies the human aspects of the world. It includes an in-depth study and evaluation of human behavior by using scientific method. The main importance of research is to produce knowledge that can be applied outside a research setting. Research also forms the foundation of program development and policies everywhere around the universe. It also solves particular existing problems of concern. In order to determine why his research is considered important and how it affected society, we would need to know who he is. Albert Einstein's research impacted society in a different way than Sir Issac Newton's did. Research methodology helps in solving a problem in systematic way. To do research, This is relevant to how we think of research. Our concept of research is the idea that we try to understand aspects of the world more clearly, accurately, and predictably by assuming. (i)That there is some kind of order to things, and (ii)That this can be revealed by approaching the world in systematic and reasonable ways.
