Abstract :

This research paper is concerned with Shashi Deshpande's feminist approach that is based on Indian ideology. She is not a radical western feminist who makes an extreme demand to abolish all differences in dress, demeanor, personal adornment, sexual initiative and the allocation of home making and parental duties and she does not want to lead androgynous life.
