present their vision of India and its vast panorama of life with its different dimensions. It focuses on India's multiethnic,
multi-religious, and multi-lingual society. The thematic focus of their novels often deals with the life of
Indians who suffer from communal disharmony, caste and religious discriminations, extreme poverty, beliefs and
superstitions, manners and customs, ethnicity and religious and cultural diversities. Their writings depict the life of
