Abstract :

Handicrafts are made up solely on the basis of human thought by using human limbs and particularly by the hands. Handicrafts have several types. Some of the handicrafts are rude, some are highly finished and some more have human thought values. These are basically defined according to the value and usage or the franchise of the products. As times goes by the art of making handicrafts undergone different changes including the impact of foreign influence on the handicrafts. Particularly the Western influence through the British rule has a strong impact on the indigenous art forms. Ultimately the Handicrafts society prime interaction is with the consumers. Consumer is pivot around which the business practices and activities of society should revolve. Hence, satisfaction of the consumers becomes the most important goal of society. As a matter of principle, society should ensure supply of right goods, at the right place, at the right time and at the right price and quality to satisfy consumer wants. In this Paper I would like to focus on the Consumer Perception towards the Handicrafts in Warangal District of A.P.
