as Sane Guruji for his contribution as a teacher since 1924 in Kandesh Education
Society`s school, Amalner, District Jalgaon (M. S.) He left his earning job as a teacher on
29th March 1930 for participating in the Non-cooperation Movement and arrived at
Pimparala Ashram. Pimparala Ashram was meeting centre of freedom fighters and fulltime
freedom fighters`s shelter. Sane Guruji collected funds and food materials to run the
Pimparala Ashram from the villages of eastern Khandesh such as Khiroda, Fizpure and
others as per order of Annasaheb Dastane. Annasaheb Dastane was the chief of
Pimparala Ashram and one of the main leaders of Indian National Congress in
