Abstract :

Education is prerequisite for progress and development. It is an essential requirement of a good and enlightened life which in turn speaks of the quality of people and society. In India, attempts are being made by the Government through several other agencies to achieve universalization of elementary education in a time bound manner, an mandated by the 86th amendment to the constitution of India making free and compulsory education to children of age 6 – 14 years and also to provide quality education at school level. As such, in order to expedite the achievement of universalization of elementary education and quality school education the Government of Karnataka.
