USA and China. 'Education for All simply implies 'Quality and Equal Education for All'.
The Women Education is the need of the hour and concern of India. The empowerment of
the Women in India is based on the qualitative and quantitative education. The purpose
of this paper is to highlight the good governance in Independent India in the sector of
higher education and the increasing number of women enrolment and entry into the field
of various disciplines of Higher Education. Their percentage for five decades since 1950
in India is increasing but not in proportion to their population strength. The impact of
higher education in leads the empowerment of women in various walks of Public Life.
