Abstract :

Ever since education has been declared human rights and it is the responsibility of all the educational institutions to see that the teachers cater to the diverse needs of the students, so as to help them to realize their potential to the fullest and the onus is on the teacher education institutions to develop the needed competencies, skills and attitude necessary for inclusive practices. Present teacher education institutions face various challenges with respect to linguistic, academic, regional, physically challenged students etc. Many education colleges offer a multiculturalism or diverse learner's course to prepare teachers for today's classrooms.
