A Study Of Emotional Competence And Stress Management Techniques Applied By Women Administrators For Work-life Balance

Abstract :

Being emotionally competent is needed for lowering stress levels of every individual's daily life. It obviously enhances the quality of life of the individual and prepares him /her to find and apply stress management techniques appropriately. This study attempts to find out the emotional competence and stress management techniques of women administrators with respect to their age. The descriptive survey method was used. The data was collected from randomly selected 112 women administrators in various fields in Aurangabad city with the help of the emotional competence scale and stress management techniques checklist. The collected data was analyzed with the help of percentage and chi-square.
