Abstract :

Feminism is a concept which is not easily accepted by Indian readers. Feminism in Indian Literature is perceived as a much transcended concept and is delicately handled under very controlled circumstances. Gradually people have tried to accept this concept grudgingly, by overlooking the patriarchal predomination, and not whole heartedly.
