By : Laxmi Book Publication Abstract : Single crystals of sulfanilamide doped dihydrogen hexafluorosilicate were grown by slow evaporation method at the room temperature. The grown crystals are characterized by the powder XRD, FT-IR, FT-Raman, UV-Visible spectroscopy and SEM studies. The powder XRD, FT–IR and FT–Raman studies reveal the presence of dihydrogen hexafluorosilicate with the drug compound of sulfanilamide in the complex form. The optical properties of the title compound were analyzed by using the UV-Visible spectroscopy. The surface morphology of the complex crystal was analyzed from the SEM microphotograph.
