IMPACT OF NEW AGRICULTURAL TECHNOLOGY IN ANDHRA PRADESH

Abstract :

affluent farmers, neglecting the small farmers and others. It was realized that efficient utilization of resources in the farm sector depends on the education of farmers in the proper utilization of resources. The new agricultural technology was seen as setting off a Green Revolution or a Seed Fertilizer Revolution and the earlier gloomy prediction, has lost its validity in the context of new technology. The new technology which is said to herald the transformation of agriculture from a traditional to a modern one brought in its wake many short and long run implications, for the economy in general and for the farm sector in particular.
