Abstract :

The demand of energy is increasing in the world. Energy is an essential need for human existence. It has a result of rapid growth of human population, Urbanization and industrialization. On the other hand now in our country peoples curiosity regarding biogas plant is increasing especially in rural areas. Biogas is a clean, non-polluting and low cost fuel. It contains about 55 to 75 per cent methane, which is inflammable. The study is to importance of biogas plant. Biogas is the good solution for energy produce as well as agriculture waste management and cattle dung. Biogas typically refers to a mixture of gases produced by the breakdown of organic matter in absent of oxygen. It is also providing bi product like slurry fertilizer . It also supports to employment in rural areas. The current article discusses the various positive and negative environmental an implication associated with biomethanation and also tries to highlight Working of biogas plant and agricultural waste management
