SPECIAL ROLE OFRAJPUTMANSABDARS IN PERIOD OFSHAHAJAHAN

Abstract :

Any monarch must introduce some rules for governing his Kingdom and if those rules are a pt the administration will be improved. The Mughal administration was based on this Mansabdari system though it cannot be remarked that this system was faultless. Before Akbar administration basing on Raj put Mansabdar system existed. Mughal emperor Akbar vast introduced the Raj put Mansabdari system. Later on the next Mughal emperors made some necessary changes in this system but still then this system could not be come flawless. The durability of any monarchy depends mainly on its administrative structure. The Rajput Mansabdari system played an important role in the destruction of the Mughal Empire. The study of special role of rajput mansabdars in period of Shahajahan. therefore, is as important as the study of the Indian history , its religion and society , its glory and grandeur . It is in this background that the present paper seeks to portray the mughal administration under the Shahajahan period. In this Article an attempt has been made to probe the organization, maintenance, divisions, and Rajput-Mughal co-relation of Shahajahan period.
