Abstract :

Physical Education (PE) has evolved significantly over time to become an integral part of modern education systems worldwide. This study examines the historical development and institutionalization of PE as a formal subject, tracing its transformation from informal physical activities to structured curricula that emphasize physical fitness, health, and holistic development.
