Abstract :

The main social problems and difficulties that Indian society faced during British colonial rule would probably be summed up in "Social Problems in British India." It would examine the ways in which economic exploitation, social stratification, and British colonial policies fueled a number of social issues, such as caste prejudice, poverty, gender inequality, and the repression of indigenous culture
