SPIDER VENOM - AN OVERVIEW

Abstract :

In order to subdue and digest their prey, spiders produce venom, which is a complex mixture of proteins, peptides, enzymes, and other bioactive molecules. This venom has evolved over millions of years, leading to a wide variety of chemical compositions, with each species of spider possessing a venom that is adapted to its ecological niche and feeding behavior.
