Abstract :

This article delves into the multifaceted struggles faced by Koya tribal youth in Malkangiri District, Odisha, India, as they strive to emancipate themselves from poverty amidst the rise of left-wing movements. It examines the socio-economic challenges confronting these youth within the context of pervasive poverty and explores how the presence of left-wing movements further complicates their efforts for socio-economic empowerment.
