It is also known as the entry point to Karnataka's northern districts. The Haveri district's culture and traditions are extremely diverse. Santa Shishunala Sharif, a great saint, Kanakadasaru, Sarvagnya, Hanagal Kumara Shivayogigalu, Wagish Panditaru, a writer Galaganatharu, Ganayogi Panchakshari Gavayigalu, and Dr. Gnyana Peetha Awardee are all born in the district.
