Abstract :

The dismemberment of Bahmani kingdom and the establishment of the five shahi families like, Ahemadnagar, Bijapur, Golkonda, Berar and Bidar created an unprecedented political situations in the Deccan.Above everything else it introduced the idea of division and partition fruitful of discord and strife.
