Abstract :

A series of s-triazine containing polyazomethines containing naphthoxy pendent groups were synthesized from newly synthesized dialdehydes containing s-triazine ring with diamines namely p-phenylene diamine (PPD), m-phenylene diamine (MPD) and 4,4’-oxydianiline (ODA) in m-cresol by solution polycondensation technique.
