Cooperative learning gives importance to cooperation as against our present educational system, which is based on competition. Cooperation rather than competition is the predominant characteristics of human beings. People are bonded together by love and cooperation and it is this quality on which the survival of human kind is based. The present paper discusses the concept and types of cooperative learning.
