Abstract :

Recrystallization is clears that the of the natural product or synthetic compound is most important in the preparation of pure drug compound. It is method mostly applicable to the solid compound. The choice of solvent required for the recrystallization is depend on the solubility of pure and impure compound in given solvent. In this review given the various process/steps involved in the recrystallization method. The purity of recrystallized materials can be determined by X-ray analysis, NMR, IR,X-ray crystallography and other analytical methods
