Abstract :

Human Development of hilly and non-hilly area in Kolhapur district is separately analysed. Besides, in this paper, an attempt is made to comparatively analyse the human development of hilly and non-hilly areas in Kolhapur districts. As per educational scenario is concerned, there is large difference in the educational index found in hilly and non-hilly areas.
