POOR PSYCHOLOGICAL CONDITIONS AFFECTS THE RATE OF EXTREMISM AND TERRORISM

Abstract :

Terrorism and extremism are world most complex phenomena. To understand the root causes of this problem we have to understand the psychology of extremist and terrorist in order to tackle this situation. This paper deals with how poor psychological condition are contribute in extremism and terrorism. This study was conducted among 52 extremists and 78 terrorists in various central prisons of Karnataka and Maharashtra (India). Result of the study indicates that poor psychological conditions significantly affect the rates of extremism and terrorism.
