and Bagh. The partition of 1947 bifurcates, this district into two, Tehsil Sadnuti and bulknof the
portion of the Tehsil Bagh goes into the Pak administered Kashmir. This side left with Tehsil
Mendher and Hevali. Now, District Poonch has three Thehsils (Sub District Headquarters) viz
Surankote, Mendher and Heavli. This hilly region has still many sites of tourist's interest, which
can be explored for the development of region and people living aside. Therefore, this study is an
extension of another study, and it is purposely undertaken to know the awareness, past
