Abstract :

The government has brought all women empowerment program, women development programs and women welfare programs under one umbrella by merging the various sectors and now it is being implemented in mission mode. Indeed national mission for women empowerment is the boom to Indian empowerment who remained out of stream of the development. The experience indicates that the needs and requirements of the women staying in the remote villages without assured source of livelihood are facing tremendous problems.
