Abstract :

The librarian is in charge of finding, acquiring, disseminating, and keeping track of a wide range of information resources. It could involve searching databases, monitoring Internet newsgroups, interlibrary loans, or the upkeep of a computerized library information system. Information can be found, stored, retrieved, and disseminated in libraries thanks to ICTs.
