Abstract :

Ephemeral stream is a portion of a stream which flows briefly in direct response to precipitation in the immediate vicinity, and whose channel is at all times above the groundwater reservoir. These streams are unique in that they lack permanent flow except in response to rainfall events. Climate change is a reality. It has a great influence on freshwater ecosystems.
