EFFECT OF COMPUTER ASSISTED INSTRUCTION AND TRADITIONAL INSTRUCTION METHOD ON TEACHING MATHEMATICS

Abstract :

This study was undertaken to study the effectiveness of CAI approach over traditional method in teaching mathematics to VII Standard students. The research method used in this study was an experimental method and their mean and standard deviation of some variables are equated by using SES and Group Intelligent Test (GIT) .one group is treated as control group and other as the experimental group. The experimental treatment was given to the experimental group and the traditional teaching is given to the control group simultaneously,conducting pre-test and post-test for the controlgroup and experimental group the resreach is done.the result revealed that there is a significant difference in achievement between both the groups.
