social scientist and psychiatrist varies of disciplines, there are two aspect of the behavior
which arouse researcher interest Firstly cigarette smoking is harmful to one's health
and society has to beer enormous costs arising from productivity lost and from the
medical expenses associated with smoking-induced diseases. An understanding of
cigarette smoking behavior thus has important implication for intervention polices.
Secondly, the behavior peers is interring. It is puzzling why people develop and maintain
seemingly destructive habits even through most of them are aware of the harmful
