Theory. Pythagoras, the famous physician, mathematician, philosophers, musicologist
and musician respectively, supported the application of a kind of music which was
structured according to the laws of harmony of microcosm of music and was to have a
beneficial effect on the life of the individual in health as well as in harmony with nature.
This paper looks at the importance of Pythagorean Scale in Indian Music and
